Condition | Preserves five finished edges including a vertical finished surface indicating the recession of the leading edge of the pan tile. Underside is chipped. |
Description | A thick pan tile with a wide flange, the outer edge of which is flat, the inner rounded at the top; curving inward toward the floor of the tile. At point of juncture is a longitudinal finger-made depression. An ovoid hole has been bored vertically through the upper edge to the bottom one. The hole decreases in diameter as it moves down the length of the flange. |
