Descriptive Attribute Value(s)
Definition Rectangular Pavement.
Top (m) Top elevation: 900.236 m.
Description This pavement is constructed of rectangular paving stones made of sandstone. While the courses of the pavement vary in width, all of the stones within each course are approximately the same size. Although the pavement is only preserved in the southern third of the trench, it seems likely that it originally covered the entire rectangle defined by the four columns (as well as its presence in Trench 5). This is supported by the continuation of the footing and by the walls between the columns, which seem to provide the boundaries of the pavement in Trench 5 and SP 26 and, by analogy, in Trench 21.
Bottom (m) Closing elevation: Approximately 900.146 m.
