Description A fragment of coarseware rim which preserves a possible siglum. The convex, exterior face of the vessel carinates inward 0.01630m below the rim, but then the profile flares back outward at a roughly 45 degree angle towards the finished, rounded rim. It is on this face that there are incisions. The deepest appears to be linear and is 0.03645m long and to bisect a fainter ovoid incision approximately 0.03028m by 0.02034m (perhaps like a phi). Connected to the linear incision at a roughly 30 degree angle is another linear incision 0.03476m in length. All the incisions are about 0.00177m in width. The interior face is finished and preserves a slight further concave indentation just below the point of carination on the exterior face. The interior of the rim flares outward to the finished, rounded rim edge.
