Description | Fragment preserves front third of a large, shod left foot; sides are almost flat, and vertical; top slightly rounded, and top of front portion and most of preserved bottom section are rounded and turned up to form a conical, pointed toe, which projects disproportionately far from the area of the rest of the toes. Instep, at the point of the break, is high, and below it, on bottom of fragment, are traces of a scar of very rough texture and slightly darker color running across the entire width of the fragment, presumably for attachment to a tile. |
