Condition Approximately half bottom of loom wight broken away at a sharp and uneven angle. Much of top broken away and large chips out of other surfaces, crack in hole. Very worn. Encrustation.
Description Fragment preserves approximately upper half of a rather large loom weight. When thickness of weight pierced for holes, a slight ridge of clay left around each hole.
Fabric Description Murlo terracotta fired orange buff originally. Quite coarse clay with particles of stone and mica.
