Condition Surfaces are heavily worn, pitted, and encrusted; there is a deep crack near one edge of the rim and fresh abrasions due to damage from modern tools used in excavation.
Description Coarseware vessel or tile fragment preserves a very slight curve and increases in thickness from the rim toward the opposing break edge. The rim is rounded with portions of three, evenly-spaced, diagonal finger impressions, giving it a "braided" appearance. Each impression measures approx. 0.025 x 0.011 m in max. pres. dimensions. One end of the rim makes a corner with a finished edge, indicating it may be a tile and not a vessel fragment.
