Condition Most of the head is preserved. Right eye, nose, chin, and hair on sides of the head are missing. Surface is worn.
Description Little modeling is used for the prominent features. The hair is smooth and parted in the middle. The surviving eye is almond shaped and formed by depressing the surrounding clay, thereby accentuating the brow line and cheek. The mouth protrudes. There are no ears. The right side of the back is broken away, as if from a backer. It slopes upward to a ridge at the top. The left side of the back is the original surface and smooth.
Fabric Description Coarse clay with bits of stone fired to an orange-brown.
