Trench CA88
Description Locus 1 was the topsoil of the trench, specifically a humus layer. The soil was dark brown, filled with organic material, many roots in particular two bigger roots of trees, and stones. In the topsoil, nearly four bowls were found of terracotta consisting of 592 pieces, 24 pieces of pottery and three special finds. The special finds were a ridge pole fragment, iron tack and iron fragment.
