Description | This platform is preserved to 18 courses in height. It is 2.37 m in width and is constructed of small sandstone ashlars with diagonal dressing. The stones are held together by mortar with a large number of broken roof tiles wedged in. Built into the lower courses of the Platform is the doorway to the Central Arch which measures 0.67 m in width by 2.04 m in height. |
