| Description | Locus 6 is topsoil in the 2nd CA-80 extension, approximately 2 meters north and 2 meters west of the original trench. the locus is comprised of dark earthy soil with lots of tree roots and rock inclusions. the soil is rather dusty and dry. there is little to no material found during the sorting process. it is a thin layer and a change in soil is found after only a few pick passes. |
