Description This SU contains the same soil as 7116—very sandy, gritty—and removes the floor packing immediately beneath the floor. While we initially thought we’d come down on 1 or 2 foundation trenches, this did not happen. Instead we came down on loose, clayey soil across the whole SU. Closed at this point through we overdug it some, I think, since we clearly came into the silty clay in 7118.
