Land Cover Comments The area of the DU is predominantly covered with weeds. There is limestone bedrock exposure at the Northwest point of the eastern half of the DU. The western half of the DU (where the single pine tree is located) contains significantly more phrygana and maquis vegetation that surrounds the pine tree and also runs almost along its South border. It was especially hard for the fieldwalkers to see what they should collect while they were walking the western half of the DU.
