Trench CA89
Description

Locus 4 is the rock cluster along the entirety of the northern baulk wall of the sounding. Points were taken along the near immediate perimeter of the rocks. A nail was placed at each of the theses points and trench line strung. Each of these points were assigned a letter, beginning with the northwestern-most point and continuing clockwise around the cluster. Upon recommendation of the site director, four of the rocks were removed from the Locus to remove the central most stump. The rocks affected fell between points G-O coordinates listed for Locus 4 opening elevations. Since the rock feature is the Locus and those rocks were redefined, we accounted for this by adjusting the closing coordinates for the trench to reflect the area which the rocks occupied.
