Description | A piece of banded agate. The faces of the stone appears mostly to be natural, including irregular convexities and concavities. One face is more flat than the others; what would be the face parallel to this one is not flat but more curved and rounded. On one face somewhat perpendicular to the two just described, closest to the curved and rounded element, is a section approximately 0.01953m by 0.03319m which has several parallel grooves (also somewhat parallel to the flat face) which might indicate working or extraction of smaller pieces from this core. The face somewhat parallel to that just described is particularly smoothed (but also encrusted). |
