Description | Piece preserves rim and part of body of a cylindrical vessel pierced with polygonal holes. The remains of two of these holes are preserved and they seem to be part of a band of such holes 0.032 m below the rim of the vessel. Both holes preserve only one angle of each, that on the right an angle of approximately 45 degrees and that on the left 30 degrees. Above the holes is an incised line 0.026 m below the rim. The rim itself has two projecting undecorated bands, one projecting horizontally outward and the other upward to encircle the mouth of the vessel. This vessel may have been a "cooking stand." |
