Trench CA89
Description Locus 1 is the topsoil. It is a dry, dark brown soil containing organic inclusions. The soil contains small stones about 2-5cm in size. There appears to be a concentration of root rot in the northeastern corner of the trench. 7 pieces of pottery and 96 pieces of terracotta were discovered in the trench. Two special finds of glazed medieval pottery were discovered.
