Condition Chipped and broken on both ends and across side on upper left-hand half. Joined from two pieces.
Description Fairly regular cylindrical shape, with certain angularity marked. Slight bulge approximately 0.030 m from base of fragment, coresponding on back to two protruding knobs approximately 0.020 m apart, perhaps hocks of cow or bull. Diagonal break in upper left-hand corner is base of support between this leg and the other. Right leg, foreleg or hind leg.
Fabric Description Terracotta. Coarse grain with coarse to very coarse chips of white stone and mica. Fired orange.
