Condition | Composed of two fragments and broken on three sides. Portion of finished rim and decoration preserved. One piece missing large chips on back and chip missing at join. Surface generally well preserved. |
Description | Fragment preserves wall of plate turning out into a horizontal rim. The outside edge of the rim preserves moulded decoration consisting of a boss with two flat heads joined by a transversely grooved shaft. Seven grooves are preserved. The inner edge of the rim is defined by a single incised line. |
