Condition Chipped along base edge from left to center of plaque. Triangula fragment missing in upper left. Rhomboidal fragment missin in central right. Chipped in center and on edges. Preservation fair.
Description Complete length and height of plaque. Missing: trunk, rider, and hindquarters of first horse; head, upper part of forelegs, and lower part of hindlegs of second horse; cap of rider, hindleg, and tail of third horse; guilloche and blank area below third horse over to middle of second. Nailhole in center of cornice and at left and right ends. Nailhole under first and third horse.
Fabric Description Terracotta. Coarse grain with fine bits of white stone and mica. Fired reddish-brown to orange-brown with traces of black. Surface incrustation.
