Description | Bucchero sherd from the rim of a vessel, perhaps a chalice. Preserves wall of vessel having a convex molded tear-drop shape which widens upward into the knob at the rim. Knob has wide hemispherical base at the rim from which projects top of knob. Resembes a nipple. Part of a rim also preserved. Knob projects approximately 0.011 m from the rim. |
