Field Description generally soft to compact and slightly cemented clay/silt. Yellow and white patches of supposedly phosphate with manganese spots. Fairly massive but possibly bedding (darker layer) or burrow (insect). Adjacent sediments are more extensively burrowed. Sample collected to see the nature of the sediments: depositional and post-depositional.
