Description This LOCA is a collection of mainly Mycenaean ceramics from a farmer's property South of the Gonia ridge, which he found in the northwestern section of his yard, brought up while he was plowing; he was using a deep (1 meter) plow, so he told Dimitri Nakassis. This pottery was catalogued by Daniel Pullen although none was collected. Tom Tartaron has a written report on this pottery. Pottery is mainly prehistoric, and mostly Mycenaean. The value is that it represents early to late Mycenaean, with several distinct fabrics that are chiefly local with some imports. LOCA is situated South of Gonia, in the yard of a fenced house with a pipe to supply water trucks, connected to the main asphalt road (Korinth to Examilia) via a dirt road. The cache of pottery was found, according to the owner, in the northwestern corner of his yard in a very discrete and small area.
