Description A fragment of coarseware rim which has been heavily vitrified and warped. The interior of the body slopes at about a 45 degree angle inward towards the aperture and then the rim turns back over the exterior of the body at what would likely have been an almost perpendicular angle to the vessel's base. All surfaces are extremely porous and the bubbling patterns show that the fragment was probably already broken at the time it became vitrified.
