Field Description Soft brown, ashy hearth with much brown silt. Burrowed (worm casts). Some blob phosphates in darker brown burrows. Ashes possibly layered. NO LOOSE SAMPLE.
THIN SECTION Observations Insect burrowed silt/clays with opaque, occluded appearance (silica?). Layered bone pieces. Very finely divided charcoal but no large pieces. Looks extensively burrowed. Many seed coats.
