| Description | A fragment of terracotta pan tile which has been vitrified. The fragment preserves portions of the pan and flange. The fragment has been warped by vitrification in such a way that the pan is no longer horizontal but convex in the pan and correspondingly concave under the pan. The flange has also been warped by this action. Surfaces are cracked and infiltrated by air bubbles. |
