Description | A singular bone fragment with six cut or sawn faces along the length. One terminal seems to be coming to a point, but if it were once pointed that element is no longer preserved. The opposite terminal has ancient breaks laterally along two opposite faces. S. Kansa reports that it is most likely from the bone of a large mammal. Possibly worked in such a fashion to be a tool, such as a stylus, awl, pin, or needle. |
