Description The soil of locus 3 consisted of a galestra-like, possibly redeposited soil. It was not sterile as one would expect from true galestra. It was more concentrated and in a thicker band at the east end of the trench near the large stump. The west end had a thinner band, more shallow layer of this soil. Material yield for locus three was: 1 very full cassetta of terracotta, 15 sherds of bulk pottery, No bone, No metal except for the one special find, a small piece of flat bronze, use unknown.
