Condition Rocchetto fragment irregularly broken across the shaft preserving one end. Surface worn away. Two chips on circumference of end.
Description An impasto rocchetto fragment broken horizontally across a narrow, circular shaft, which flares outward to terminate in a round, knob-like end with convex top surface. Undecorated.
Fabric Description Impasto. An orange clay with numerous white and black bits. The surface preserves a light brown to orange color, but minute traces of a dark brown on the top surface of the end show that it was probably originally fired a dark brown or black. Perhaps has been badly burned.
