Description | A fragment of fine impasto rim preserving a net pattern decoration on the vessel interior. This pattern is composed of shallowly impressed lines which intersect at roughly a 50/130 or 55/125 complementary angle. Only one register of intersecting lines is preserved. The max. pres. length of one of the lines composing the pattern is 0.01201m and the width of the lines is about 0.00090m. The rim is rounded in profile, with the vessel body widening out more as it goes away from the rim. The exterior of the vessel is finished, but undecorated. |
