Condition Preserves one coil of spring and length of bow shaft, minus the clasp. Sharply bent twice along bow, almost broken through at second bend. Surface corroded and encrusted.
Description A fragment of a large bronze fibula, preserving one coil of the spring and the major portion of the bow, minus the clasp at end. The bow is circular in section, taking the form of a simple arched shaft, reaching minimum thickness at the break before the clasp. Badly bent.
