Description | Locus 8 is the eastern Intercolumnar Wall of the temple building. It is composed of medium-large sandstone blocks, many with diagonal dressing, laid into regular, well-built courses, using the inner colonnade as a skeleton. An arched doorway (Locus 7) and three windows (Loci 12, 13 and 14) are built into the wall and face into the Eastern Corridor from the Simon Staircase. |
