Description Locus 3, Munsell No. 7.5YR4/3 (brown), was a coarse, loose, granule-sized fill, evenly distributed throughout the locus. With the exception of the ceramic pipe which overlay it (Seq. No. SP121007), no inclusions were found in this fill. Locus 3 appears to serve as fill for the laying of the paved floor of the South Passageway of the Temple Complex (Locus 30 of Trench 83, 2001 Excavations), the pavers of which are replaced in this particular area by a ceramic pipe extending east west parallel to (and abutting) the South Perimeter Wall.
