Description A fragment of less than half of a fine impasto spindle whorl. The conical exterior is well preserved and polished; it bells outward towards a beveled edge and flattened base. As the base moves towards what would have been the center of the artifact, a slight indent might be an indication of the hole which would have once perforated the whorl. The presumably conical top of the whorl is not preserved and the fragment is broken through the body preserving broken surfaces which are slightly concave.
