Description A fragmentary fine impasto handle likely belonging to a skyphos. The fragment is thickest towards one diagonal break edge and then tapers in diameter towards the other diagonally broken break edge. On the exterior curving face of the handle is a molded attachment. In profile the attachment is almost flattened near the thicker end of the handle and then swells upward to a rounded portion closer to the thinner break edge. The attachment is 0.01682m long, 0.00825m wide, max. pres. height of 0.00755m, and min. pres. height of 0.00317m (height measured as it projects off of the handle). The shape of the attachment does not immediately evoke any particular motif, but does seem to be some kind of decorative expression.
