Description | Partial body and handle from wheelmade boot-shaped lamp. The strap handle is attached to the conical body and top of filling hole rim. The body is ridged and the base slightly convex. Rosenthal & Sivan 1978:122 #506/7. Nozzle was hand-formed and then stuck on to lamp. Dated to end of 5th century - beginning of 6 c. CE. |
