Condition The nail preserves its general form. The diameter of the head is marked by damage. The overall surface is pocketed with patches of red/orange corrosion.
Description A nearly complete iron nail is preserved. The head is irregular in diameter from chipping and corrosion. The curvilinear shaft preserves its square shape as it tapers slightly in height and width toward its terminus. The end of the shaft has been broken off. The nail is probably modern.
