Field Description Reddish yellow ashes ~ 2-3 cm thick over yellowish red silts. Seems to be beyond apatite. Compact, slightly cemented. ~ 2 cm diameter soft brown root fillings. Some red balls, gastroliths. Possibly apatite in voids.
THIN SECTION Observations Partly calcareous burrowed + compacted yellow isotropic matrix, some bone (w/ Manganese staining); some burned TR balls. Some pale blobs (silica??); bone fragments.
