| Description | The head is not modeled in the round, but its back surface curves inward towards the center. In general, only the major features are articulated with a minimum of modeling. The mouth is formed by undercutting, especially beneath the lower lip. This undercutting in turn emphasizes the prominence of the chin. The lips curve slightly upwards at the edges.
