Description Large heavy terracotta object of shape and dimesions which suggest utility vessel, but is decorated with painted white patterns over the entire exterior surface. Shape is that of long, hollow, slightly asymmetrical cylinder which flares gently into conically shaped basin, apparently the bowl at the top of the funnel; near broken end of tube section is a wide, rounded horizontal rib; at broken end, on edge, is a scar, possibly from attachment of another tube segment - scar, where not abraded, consists of five petal-shaped indentations with narrow ends touching inner edge of hollow tube; possibly the oval-shaped break on the rim of bowl section is scar from curved elliptical spout section, set diagonally on rim of bowl. Painted decoration, pending further cleaning, is geometric white pattern: on rim, thick, horizontal line above series of white solid triangles set points down, and running off bowl into tube; proceeding of lattice-like long X-lines with thick horizontal lines at bottom tips also, three horizontal thick lines separated by spaces, (rib), one further thick horizontal line.
