| Description |
A fine impasto spindle whorl with seven facets perforated laterally as well as decorated laterally with a stamped decoration. The base of the spindle whorl is roughly flat (except for some encrustation) with the perforation being 0.004 m in diameter. The top of the spindle whorl is a flat edge with the perforation 0.003 m in diameter. The body is divided into seven facets, max. pres. width of 0.010 m, by slightly ridged edges 0.002 m in width. Each facet has two dashed lines probably made by roller stamp which follow the angle of the facet edges. The max. pres. length of a dash is 0.002 m and the max. pres. width of a dash is 0.001 m. |
