Description | This Nabataean floor is located in the north portion of the trench. Comprised of nine smooth sandstone and sandstone/limestone floor pavers, set on dirt and grouted with white cement, the floor extends from the threshold of the northern steps (Locus 5) to the south end of the trench. Secondary excavations of the west wall (Loci 7 and 8) had indicated that the floor was in fact the same floor as that found in the residential quarter (Trench 94), and had been closed off by wash and sedimentation fill.
