Description Fragment of a "cut-out" akroterion preserving complete small curved pointed member; two roughly flattened sides, tapering upwards; one roughly flattened somewhat irregularly curving edge which by one convex and two succesive concave arcs forms a beak-like projection with a pointed end; the piece has a flat, broad scar at the base where it attached to the topmost part of a ridge pole cover tile; another break goes perpendicular to the base break, between lowest part of concave edge and bottom of piece; probably the piece formed a lateral decorative extension, next to the tile, of main part of the akroterion.
Fabric Description Murlo terracotta, well preserved red slip on all finished surfaces.
