| Description | Locus 5 is a significantly paler blonde soil that was found at a higher elevation in the north of the trench. the soil continued to lighten throughout the trench but at lower elevations. the soil continues have similar amounts of material and has less rocks and tree roots than either locus 3 or 4. Locus 5 was paused on July 12 and its final elevations may be found on page 63. The locus is not closed but work may be finished for the 2013 season |
