Description	Locus 2 Trench: CA94 Trench Book: BTL I Locus: 2 Date and page opened: 7 July, 2023, p. 27 Date and page closed: 10 July, 2023, p. 37 Munsell: 7.5 YR 2.5/2 very dark brown Description:  Locus 2 wa an extension of trench CA94, which was added to help define the nature of the bedrock or linear stone feature on the east boundary of locus 1. Locus 2, like locus 1, featured a layer of loose topsoil which contained scant material culture. Also like locus 1, locus 2 had small to medium sized loose rocks and tree roots. Below the topsoil layer bedrock was quickly revealed throughout the locus. It was clear the linear stone feature of locus 1 was bedrock, not intentionally placed stone.  Catalogued finds: none Secure context: no
