Condition Broken on two sides. Chipped and scarred.
Description Tile or plaque fragment preserves a corner. Notable is the fact that the corner has been sheared off at an angle which has a flat surface. Back of flange preserves a hole at the (bottom?) edge, perhaps used in mounting the tile or plaque. Approximate diameter of hole 0.013 m. Hole appears to have been made with finger. For another example, see 19680601.
Fabric Description Murlo Terracotta. Fired dark orange on exterior, badly fired to a greyish-black on interior. Clay very coarse with large particles of stone and mica numerous. Gray encrustation.
