Description Scene same as 19660094. Trophy on stand. Part of body of a large bronze lebes is preserved. Its sides are sharply rounded. Two handles rise from the rim at an angle of around 135 degrees. The rolled rim is set off from the body by a groove. The break cuts through the base of the lebes. Above, three studs. This may be the trophy for the horse race seen in 19660049 and 19660097.
Fabric Description Coarse clay with numerous impurities including stones and mica. Fired reddish-brown on exterior; dark on interior.
