Description This is the Hellenistic wall published by James Wiseman in Land of the Ancient Corinthians (pp. 60-61) and Hesperia 32 (1963): 248-275, esp. 255-256). See Wiseman for description of wall construction and drawings. We noted concentrations of Classical-Hellenistic tile and pottery around the eastern geodetic marker of Rachi Simitris (see 1:5000 map), and some of the same at the western extent of the wall. Wiseman himself found Classical-Hellenistic material in his cleanings of one of the towers. Stretch of wall begins ca. 100 meters west of the geodetic marker at Rachi Simitris and heads east for about 1,400 meters along the line of the Rachi, following the topography. See Pettegrew 2016.
