Description Locus 4, like Locus 3, was also declared to be the area of a small soil depression in the bedrock, this time bordered in the south by the southern baulk wall. This locus contained incised and ridged impasto fragments, as well as burnt bone. The soil remains consistent with that of Locus 3, very dense and light brown to olive in color. It was determined that Locus 3, like Locus 4, was not an intentional deposit but rather that its contents were the result of random deposition due to washout or use as a trash heap.
