Description High-density artifact scatter in the western part of Perdikaria. Artifacts consist of mainly large chunks of tiles. LOCA situated in three DUs ca. 350 meters West of the paved Rachi Boska-Kromna road, 140 meters South of the gravel road. DUs 2278 and 2279 are part of a large olive grove (50m E-W x 90 m N-S). DU 2280 is a younger strip of olive trees to the East. Because of plowing, a significant quantity of tiles have turned up at the North end of the DUs. Artifacts taper off 40-50 meters to the South. Carved marble architectural fragment in DU 2278. Some cut stone blocks in DU 2280, southern edge. Together, these remains suggest a building on this spot. The high density in these DUs relative to adjacent ones may be a result of plowing and visibility.
