Field Description | Cemented clay/silt. Various types of phosphates fine yellow blobs, some white flecks; some vein apatite?; cm size pieces of charcoal. Localized remains of ~3-5 cm thick clay bands (similar to outside). So diagenetically altered that it is difficult to make out original sediment; sediment fairly light in weight. Gastroliths. |
